Biography (a brief version)
Sara Larikka is a pianist, composer and piano teacher based in Oulu, Finland. She graduated in 2016 as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts from the Oulu University of Applied Sciences, where she studied music pedagogy. Same year she also started her work as a piano teacher at the Oulu Conservatoire. In 2020 she studied further in the OUAS Degree Programme in Artistic Development, graduating as a Master of Culture and Arts in 2021. Sara performs frequently as a pianist in northern Finland and publishes music on her YouTube channel.

Sara Larikka is a pianist and composer living in Oulu, Finland. She works as a piano teacher at the Oulu Conservatoire.
Larikka was born in 1992 in Kemi, Lapland. She started piano lessons at the age of five with Virve Räisänen in the Sea Lapland Music Institute. In 2011, she began music pedagogue studies in Oulu University of Applied Sciences, where she studied piano with Jouko Tötterström. Larikka graduated in 2016 as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts with excellent grades. In 2020 she studied further in the OUAS Degree Programme in Artistic Development, graduating as a Master of Culture and Arts in 2021. Larikka has also taken private lessons from Joonas Pohjonen in 2014–2019.
Sara Larikka performs frequently as a pianist in northern Finland. She has performed in productions of e.g. UML festival, Northern Opera Company and Oulu Symphony Chamber Musicians.
Larikka has studied composing with Jouko Tötterström and Joonas Pohjonen. In 2019 the sheet music of Sara Larikka’s composition Three Radiant Études was published by the Finnish music publishing company Modus Musiikki. The études and other compositions by Larikka have been performed in the UML festival in Oulu in several years.
Since 2016 Larikka has worked as a piano teacher at the Oulu Conservatoire.
